Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit/full payment is required at time of booking, the amount required will be clearly listed on the session you are interested in.

• The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to the session.

• No services will be delivered until full payment is received.

• Payments accepted via: Bank Transfer / Card.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Deposit's are non-refundable.

• Rescheduling requires at least 48 hours notice and is subject to availability.

• In cases of illness, emergency, or extreme weather, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule.

• Any money paid will not be refunded if you fail to attend without notice and you forfeit the right to have it rescheduled

Delivery of Images

• Final edited images will be delivered within [2-3 weeks].

• Images will be supplied via secure online gallery / digital download.

• RAW/unedited files will not be provided.

Artistic Style

• Clients acknowledge they are familiar with the photographer’s style.

• Image selection and editing remain at the photographer’s artistic discretion.

• Additional retouching beyond standard edits may incur extra charges and are at the photographers discretion.

Copyright & Usage

• Copyright remains with Becky Marshall Photography at all times.

• Clients receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable personal-use license.

• Images may not be altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.

• The photographer may use images for portfolio, website, social media, competitions, and marketing unless the client opts out in writing prior to delivery.

• Home address

• Event details

• Payment information

• Pet (s) name, breed and characteristics

• Photographic images

Lawful Basis for Processing

Personal data is processed under:

• Contractual necessity (to provide photography services)

• Consent (for marketing communications or promotional image use where required)

How Data is Used

Personal data is used to:

• Deliver contracted services

• Communicate regarding bookings

• Process payments

• Deliver galleries

Data Storage & Security

• Client data is stored securely via password-protected systems and encrypted cloud services.

• Images may be stored for up to 6 years for backup and legal purposes.

• Personal data will not be sold or shared with third parties unless required to fulfil services (e.g., print labs, album suppliers).

Data Retention

• Booking and financial records are retained for 6 years for tax/legal compliance (UK standard).

• Galleries may be deleted after 6 months, and clients are responsible for downloading images within this time frame.

Clients Rights Under GDPR

Clients have the right to:

• Request access to their personal data

• Request correction of inaccurate data

• Request deletion of personal data (where legally permissible)

• Restrict or object to processing

• Withdraw consent at any time

• Lodge a complaint with their local Data Protection Authority (e.g., ICO in the UK)
