1. What should we wear for our outdoor session?
Choose outfits that coordinate rather than match exactly. Neutral tones, soft colors, or earthy shades work beautifully outdoors. Avoid bold logos or overly busy patterns, as they can distract from your faces. Layers and textures (like denim, knitwear, or flowy dresses) also photograph well.
2. What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
If it rains or conditions are not ideal, we’ll reschedule at no extra charge. Overcast days, however, are actually wonderful for photography—soft clouds act like a natural diffuser for light.
3. How long does a typical outdoor family session last?
Most sessions run about 60 minutes, giving plenty of time for posed shots, candid moments, and breaks if little ones need them.
4. Can we bring props or personal items?
Absolutely! Blankets, favourite toys, or meaningful items (like a family heirloom or your child’s favourite book) add personality and storytelling to your photos.
5. How should we prepare kids for the session?
Make sure they’re well-rested and have had a snack before arriving. Bring water, small treats, or their favorite toy for comfort. Keep the mood fun and relaxed—authentic smiles often come from play and connection.
6. Can we include pets in our outdoor photos?
Yes, pets are part of the family! Just let me know in advance so we can choose a pet-friendly location. Bringing a leash, treats, and a helper is recommended.
7. How many images will we receive and when?
This will be stated on the session you have booked and will be with you in digital form within 3 weeks after your session.
8. Do you help with posing?
Yes! I’ll guide you through natural poses and prompts, if you have specific poses you would like we can discuss those also. My goal is to capture both beautifully composed portraits and authentic candid moments.
9. Where can we take outdoor family photos?
There are a variety of scenic spots within the area—parks, gardens, or urban areas. If you have a meaningful location in mind, we can absolutely shoot there too.
10. What will happen on the day?
We will meet at the allocated time and place, complete introductions and chat through if you have anything in particular you would like to get from the session. Then we have some fun!

Your mini session is all about capturing natural, heartfelt moments with your family — stress-free and full of fun. Here’s how it works:
Pre-Session Guidance: Before your session, we will have agreed a time & location.
The Session Itself (Up to 30 Minutes): We’ll keep things relaxed and enjoyable. I focus on natural interactions — laughter, cuddles, and genuine expressions — rather than stiff poses. Perfect for families, children, and even your furry friends!
Variety of Shots: Expect a mix of candid moments, classic posed portraits, and playful interactions. I aim to capture your family’s personality and connections, so each image feels authentic and timeless.
Professional Editing: After your session, I’ll carefully select and edit your best shots. Each image is polished while keeping your family looking natural.
Delivery & Optional Upgrades: Within 2-3 weeks you’ll receive 5 edited digital images included in your session. If you want more, you can upgrade to a digital gallery with all your favourites.
Stress-Free Experience: No long waiting, no pressure — just 30 minutes of laughter, love, and memories that you’ll treasure forever.
